Take Your Child to Work Day 2009

Take Your Child to Work Day images

The Department of Human Resources through Know Better Place hosted this yearsTake Your Child to Work Day on April 23, 2009.  The event was a great success with over 134 children visiting and over 20 departments participating.  This year’s theme was Building Partnerships to Educate and Empower.  The event included a Career Fair for teenagers and a Health & Safety Fair for the younger kids along with department tours and workshops.

Know Better Place would like to thank all the volunteers that chaperoned and hosted the children.  Job well done!
